Your privacy matters. Rekindle Reset is a free app with no accounts, no sign-up and no payments. This policy explains the limited information involved when you use it.
Information we collect
Rekindle Reset does not ask for your name, email address or any account details, and does not collect email addresses for marketing.
If you choose to email us — for example through the Contact page or the optional "Tell us what would help" form, which opens your own email app — we receive only what you decide to send in that email.
Cookies and Local Storage
Rekindle Reset uses your browser's local storage to provide core app functionality. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. It is used to:
- Save Compass check-ins and Library items privately on your device
- Remember whether you have dismissed the "add to home screen" suggestion
- Enable the functionality of the Progressive Web App (PWA)
You can remove this information at any time by clearing your browser's site data. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, behavioural profiling or third-party tracking, and we do not record install events or device details.
Hosting
Rekindle Reset is hosted on Lovable's hosting platform and is published at rekindlereset.com. Like any website, the hosting platform necessarily processes your IP address and standard technical request information in order to deliver the site to your browser. Certain technical server logs may be retained by the hosting infrastructure where applicable.
Backend and data location
The app's managed backend and database infrastructure is Lovable Cloud. The project configuration indicates an AWS EU-West (Ireland) region.
During normal use, the app makes no requests to its own backend. Your check-ins and saved Library items are not sent to the backend — they are stored locally on your device. The app does not use accounts, analytics, or install or device tracking.
Google Fonts
The app loads the Cormorant Garamond and Nunito Sans fonts directly from Google's servers when a page loads. This means your browser connects to Google to fetch those fonts. Google's handling of that connection is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Other third parties
Based on a technical inspection of the app, no other third-party services are used during normal app use.
The Instagram and Facebook links are external links. They only connect you to those platforms if you choose to click them, and those platforms' own privacy policies then apply.
A preview image used when the site is shared is stored on a Google file-hosting address. It is used by link-preview and social media systems when displaying a shared link, not loaded by visitors during normal app use.
